Jane Addams to James Ramsay MacDonald, May 11, 1915

ST. ERMINS HOTEL,
ST. JAMES' PARK, S.W.

My dear Mr MacDonald

I can scarcely hope that you will be free tomorrow afternoon. I hope to leave for Rotterdam on Saturday night if the object for which I came with two women from other neutral nations, Holland and Italy can be achieved. I wish I might have an opportunity to talk to you about it, it would give me much pleasure to see you [page 2] again.

Thanking you for your kind reply to my appeal for help. I am Faithfully yours

Jane Addams
