My dear Mr. Ely: --

I shall be very happy indeed to see Prof. [Kühnemann] and nothing would give me more pleasure than to have a lecture on Tolstoy.

It was very nice indeed to hear from you. I wish you would let me know the next time you are in Chicago so that we could see Mrs. Ely and yourself. I thought of you so often during the last few months, and want very much to discuss several things with you. Won't you let me know when you are in Chicago?

Sincerely yours,

Jane Addams [signed]

Prof. Richard T. Ely,
Madison.
