My dear Miss Gapen: --

I cannot possibly change the Appleton date to the 25th, partly because I have engagements in Chicago for that day and <for> the 26th, and also because I do not wish to be away from Chicago any longer than is absolutely necessary.

I imagine that it is quite possible to get from Sheboygan to Appleton for the 29th, arriving in Chicago the morning of May 30th. As I understand it the dates are now as follows: --
