HULL'S COVE
MAINE

My dear Mrs. Ewing

I have been very anxious about Miss Culver for the last few days and should be very grateful for a letter, if you have time to write me.

We are having wonderful weather this summer and I think that our island has never been so beautiful. [page 2]

We both hope so much that we are going to see the entire Ewing family here again.

You will be sure to telegraph me, won't you if the end should come, there are moments when I wonder why we came so far away while she was so feeble. Mary Smith sends her love. Always devotedly yours

Jane Addams
