Laura has gone to St. Louis for a week to visit the Fair and then goes onto Cedarville. I showed her your letter in regard to taking Marcet to Girard, perhaps you might persuade her. Why not write to her directly? ↑Please↓ Let me know when you get the deed [from] Stanley. They are twenty five [minutes] from the R.R. so that letters do not go quickly. Marcet [argues?] to have a glimpse of the Fair, perhaps you can bring her [back in] the fall.
