INTERNATIONAAL CONGRES OF VROUWEN.
DAMRAK 28-30, AMSTERDAM
(HOLLAND).
May 9" 1915
Dearest --
We head up in half an hour, but Mrs Thomas will have told you of our plans before this reaches you -- I know how wild they must sound in the U.S.A. You can never understand unless you were here, how you would be willing to do any thing. Miss Breckinridge & I start for London, G. Abbott & Alice to Belgium with letters to Brand Whitlock. The whole experience has been tremendous. I don't think that I have lost my head -- there is just one chance in 10 thousand. [page 2]
With all my heart, I send my love to you & to dear L de K. B. I had the cable yesterday but didn't [dare?] to reply until I reached England. I do hope all is going well with her.
Always, Dear One, yr J. A.
