My dear Miss Addams,

I am sending you here with a bunch of suggestions as to mass meetings, quite realizing that [many] circumstances will prevent their fulfillment.

But the idea of a cumulative impression can be carried out I think, at least in some places; and that simple and efficacious method of keeping the speakers to time has been tried and found quite efficacious.

[Many] a great purpose has been hindered and weakened by tiring the audience; and [many] a good speaker enraged and so [inspired?] in his or her contribution, by the injustice of earlier speakers trespassing on others' time.

Here also is a better list of my own available dates. I shall be more than glad to help all that I can, and will go as low as $50. where it is really necessary.

With love and honor

Charlotte Perkins Gilman
