Flora Gapen to Jane Addams, May 16, 1912

May 16, 1912.

Miss Jane Addams,
Hull House,
Chicago, Ill.

Dear Miss  Addams:

I believe that my letter of May 14th answers your letter of May 14th so far as we can answer it up to the present time. In reply to the letter to Mrs. Benedict, of the same date, I cannot tell you how delighted we are to know that you are coming to Milwaukee again. Everybody clamors for Miss Addams, and one of our [biggest] hopes for the success of this meeting was that you could be here. Each speaker is to be given but ten minutes in which to speak so that I don't believe that you will find it very taxing upon your energy. We plan to have a number of speakers at each meeting. Thank you very much for the assurance that we have of your being able to be with us on [Wisconsin] Suffrage Day, May 23rd.

Very sincerely yours,

Executive Secretary.
