My dear Miss James: --

I am afraid that I cannot make any definite dates for Wisconsin just now. I go to Appleton on the 27th, Sheboygan on the 28th and Oshkosh on the 29th. I am going East to fill engagements there early in June and have engagements here steadily up to the middle of that month. After that I shall be busy opening a new fresh air place for Hull-House, so I am afraid it will be impossible for me to take on anything more until later in the summer.

I very much enjoyed meeting your Mother in Kansas. It was delightful to see the hearty reception accorded to her everywhere.
