My dear Miss Coman

I have thought of you so many times since we have been in Egypt and especially at this charming hotel to which we are both devoted.

I have not presented your letters as yet as we were only two days in Cairo before we left for upper Egypt. I hope to present them [page 2] with some other letters next week, and will write you again.

We spent yesterday afternoon at the tombs of the nobles, how wonderful all the records are, I will confess to have fallen very much under the spell of this amazing country.

Hoping you are much better and anticipating seeing you in Chicago next fall, I am always, affectionately yours
