Otto Carl Schneider to Jane Addams, June 8, 1908

BOARD OF EDUCATION
CITY OF CHICAGO
OTTO C. SCHNEIDER.
President

Chicago, June 8, 1908.

Miss Jane Addams,
Hull House, Chicago.

My dear Miss Addams:-

Having looked over the needs of the Detention School as closely as I possibly could, I have arrived at some definite conclusions which are very much at variance with the recommendations made by yourself and Mrs. Blaine.

I have requested Mr. Perkins, the Architect, to accompany me to the School tomorrow between nine and ten o'clock, and if you are at liberty to join us, I will be glad to explain to you why I have arrived at the conclusions that I will communicate to you and how we can surmount some obstacles which we may find.

Yours truly,

Otto C. Schneider
President.
