Biographical Text

Ernest Adams Young was married to Jane Addams's niece. He studied English at Harvard University. After finishing school, he began working as the manager of a cracker factory in Boston. From there, Young moved to Texas and began work in construction as a civil engineer.

Young married Sarah Weber Addams in 1907. Young died in 1938.
