Dear Sir:
I personally think that Dr. Jacob's memoirs would certainly sell up to 1000 copies, but of course that is a mere estimate on my part.
I do not know of any group or individual that would sponsor its publication. She is however very popular with the Birth Control people who consider her as well they may, a very successful pioneer in their movement. I meant to show the copy to Mrs. Carpenter whose husband is a Federal Judge and who is chairman of the movement here.
Have you seen Mrs. Catt, who is an old friend of Dr. Jacobs'? Between the Suffragists, the Birth Control advocates, and the general public, it ought to be easy it seems to me to sell an edition. I could perhaps have the editing done by a Dutch friend of mine, Mde. Ramondt who is here in Chicago, with the help we could give her here. It does not need to my mind a great deal. It is largely a matter of arrangement.
