My dear Mr. Rosenwald;

I have signed and am sending to you, as requested, the enclosed document which authorizes Miss Addams to execute a certain deed.

The deed in question is to a little farmhouse in New York left by Miss Ella Waite to Hull House. We have sold the place, I think for $2500.00 and they require the signatures of the Trustees of the House.

When you have signed this will you be good enough to mail it to Miss Addams.
