WOMEN'S INTERNATIONAL LEAGUE FOR PEACE AND FREEDOM

My dear Dorothy Detzer --

I would lecture about the whole situation quite frankly, what we have found possible and what we have found so difficult as to be impracticable.

I am sure the Europeans all believe that we have an easier time than we do, and that it would be good for them to know the real facts. I wouldn't stress efficiency but I would relate experiences.

I am so glad that you are to be one of the lecturers! Hastily yrs Jane Addams

[written at the top of the page] P.S. Alice Hamilton and I are aghast at what you write about Don. Do give him my love when you next write!
