My dear Miss Addams:
Mr. Rosenwald has seen your letter of May 12th and asks me to write you that he would prefer not to finance the new building for boys at the Bowen Country Club, although he appreciates very much that you thought of him in connection with the project.
Regarding the beds and kitchen chairs, he has directed me to consult Sears, Roebuck and Company as to whether they could secure donations from manufacturers. If they should be able to do this, you will be duly advised.
