January 10, 1928.
My dear Mrs. Olmsted,
I am a great admirer of the Pittsburgh group and have spoken to them twice. I should like very much to do it again and will be glad to let you know whenever it seems possible.
I received a cable from Honolulu the other day giving the date of the Pan-Pacific Conference as August 9th. I think the date is at last determined upon and I hope very soon to get out some literature. Our Conference will have to show ↑a careful↓ distinction from the other. I am ↑shall have↓ to have two circulars and send the W.I.L. one only to our own members. We are ↑now↓ sure of a group of ten women from Japan and large groups from New Zealand and Australia and a fair representation from Singapore and China.
With all good wishes for the New Year, I am
Faithfully yours,
Jane Addams [signed]
