The Perfect Wireless Voice.

[image: Dame Barnett.]  In the experience of the British Broadcasting Company, with one of whose principals I talked [today], the female voice is not nearly so well suited to the microphone as the masculine.

Nevertheless, there is one distinguished woman whose voice is regarded as being as nearly perfect as possible for broadcasting. She is Dame Henrietta Barnett, widow of that eminent social reformer, Canon Barnett, founder of Toynbee Hall.
