My dear Mrs Hicks
Miss Mann seems to be quite the person for us but I am sending this letter [through] Mr Byron that we may make no complications. I hope very much that she will help with the boys as well from the start that we may have crafts [work?] for [both]. Sadie Ellis [page 2] could take care of the children who come with their mothers in the afternoons, so that if you and Miss Mann were both here in the afternoons & evenings, [other?] work for both could be arranged in that basis. Doubtless you have talked it all over with Mr Byron whom I have asked to read this letter. I will be back in Sept when you are still away probably -- but am getting quite eager to be back -- faithfully yours Jane Addams.
