Dear Judge Lindsey,

I thank you very much for your book "The Companionate Marriage" which has just been received.

I have so recently returned from the Coast of Maine that I have not yet caught up with my correspondence much less reading material, but I am anticipating reading the book. I am afraid I do not agree with the basic principal upon which you urge the experiment, but I should like to talk it over with you very much.
