My dear Miss Addams:
I am writing to tell you that Miss Margaret C. Dunn died on Tuesday last in St. Lukes Hospital as a result of an operation designed to relieve somewhat a slight curvature of the spine. You may recall her as engaged in the study of "Jane Addams as a Political and Social Leader." She had partly completed this study but was intending to follow it on through.
Her death was a great shock to us all as we did not even know that she was in the hospital.
