Dear Miss Addams: --

I am very glad that you approve of the Scholarship for the W.I.L. I have so hoped that I might be able to advise with you in person and perhaps have it arranged this year. The doctor, in the spring, thought I might be able to go to Chicago this summer but I am not. I will hope, however, that the scholarship can be arranged before the next meeting of the W.I.L.

I thank you most gratefully for the definite information you have given me about the W.I.L. and your most kind offer of your room in Hull House.

Hoping that I may see you in the near future,

very sincerely yours,

Mary Campbell.
