In answer to yours of May 19 to Miss Addams and me about the Conference with Mr. Libby --
To be quite honest I am ready when the time comes that Mr Libby is ready to go into the field along the lines indicated to throw our strength behind him and to keep the W.I.L. in a more like a Committee
(1) to serve as connecting link between the international body of the WILPF & the U.S. work
(2) to help raise funds for it
(3) and to undertake special pieces of work, when such come up, that are specially fitted for us and not for the general peace organization (Mr Libbys, (that is) to handle.
That is, this is my first reaction to it all.
