Beloved Lady:

Bruno Lasker and I have been having valuable assistance from Dr. Emerson on the prohibition program. Can you save an hour or so on the 18th to take up points before you sail away.

I hear such fine stories of your speeches in Cleveland. "Best ever" is what I am told!

I am looking forward to the evening of the 18th. Will you let me know if you would all like to dine at Henry Street, or at the Neighborly Inn, a restaurant connected with the Playhouse.

I am feeling very weak in the knees because I am not going to Europe with you.
