Miss Jane Addams,
Hull House,
Chicago, Ill.

Dear Madam; --

The Women's Auxiliary of the Pan-Pacific Union has requested me, as president of the Pan-Pacific Union, to write urging that you attend the Pan-Pacific Women's Conference to be held in Honolulu in 1928, June 14 to 24, with yourself as honorary chairman.

They are eager to have you as an authority on Social Service and if you would suggest one or two other outstanding authorities among the women of America on this subject, I believe they would appreciate this, but they do earnestly hope that you will accept an invitation to attend this Conference, taking part in its proceedings and preparing a paper in advance, if possible.

I am informed that the Entertainment Committee plans to take care of the delegates during the Conference, arrange entertainment, and house them, so that the only expense to the delegates attending this conference will be that of transportation.

Earnestly hoping that you can attend the Conference, believe me, with Aloha from Hawaii,

Very truly yours,

W R Farrington [signed]
President, PAN PACIFIC UNION
