INSPECTOR'S REPORT, GLENTUNNEL SCHOOL, CANTERBURY NEW ZEALAND. 1920.
Mr. A. L. Wills, Headmaster.
"This school continues to do good work in the cause of education. Well-thought-out schemes on the various subjects have been planned and taught on sound lines.
"The children are industrious and the children are painstaking, with the consequence that a good spirit of work prevails throughout the school. The discipline is commendable.
"The three upper standards have been taught with much success by the Headmaster. All subjects have been treated in a broad and liberal manner and some really excellent work has been accomplished. The scholars are bright and intelligent. They put written work down very neatly, and give a splendid response in the subjects taken orally. A special word of praise is due to the way in which History, English Composition and Agriculture have been taught."
