PAX INTERNATIONAL

[Madeleine] Doty made the following suggestion: that she continue to edit "Pax" either from America or Europe and that she be responsible for the finances of the paper, namely that she raise $2000 for the printing, $1000 for the editorial work, $600 for stenographic work, $400 for incidentals, making a total of $4000 a year. That in connection with "Pax" she do all in her power to increase the international membership and so raise the budget of International Headquarters.

The officers have agreed to put this proposal of Madeleine Doty's before the National Sections and the Executive Members, and recommend that if it be accepted, the proposal be tried out for one year with the following provisos:

1) That the secretary at International Headquarters sends every month at least enough material to cover one side of the central page and an editorial or current comments.

2) That all the Sections shall send their news for "Pax" both to Madeleine Doty and to the International Secretary, so that if any problem arises which may cause complications, the secretary may notify M. Doty.

3) That the W.I.L. takes no responsibility for the opinions expressed in signed articles.

4) That special articles contributed to "Pax" must avoid controversial topics in connection with the policy of the W.I.L. and must not contain attacks upon or criticisms of any group or person within our League.
