WOMEN'S INTERNATIONAL LEAGUE FOR PEACE AND FREEDOM

Dear [Madeleine] Doty

Emily Balch and I suddenly realized that we had not given you a copy of the budget which you carefully made out a year ago. I am sure that Vilma Glücklich gave you one -- perhaps the one which she so carefully compared to the actual expenditures at the end of the year.

At any rate to be quite sure I am sending for the [enclosed].

I think that we should be notified of any $5.00 memberships from the U.S.A. that may be paid in directly to Geneva that we may deduct them from our $500.00 "a month." [page 2]

I am sure you saw to it that Vilma Glücklich was paid for Oct. I think that we will have to double up salaries on that month and of course the accounts [can] now stand some strain because they are relieved of the printing bill.

I am eager for your first impressions and [am?] always affectionately yours

Jane Addams
