National Conference of Social Work
Denver, Colorado, July 28, 1925.
My dear Miss Addams:
The subject of an International Conference of Social Work has been very much in the thought of our National Conference, as you know, for the past two years. The present idea is that there should be such a Conference in 1926.
It now becomes my duty to appoint a committee for the further consideration of this subject and to work out definite plans. Are you willing to be a member of this Committee? It gives me much pleasure to appoint you and I earnestly hope that you can accept such appointment. Will you kindly let me know as soon as possible? Kindly address me at 1123 Sherman St., Denver, Colorado.
You were very badly missed here in Denver. I earnestly hope that you recovered your health rapidly and are feeling quite yourself again.
Very sincerely yours,
