My dear Mrs. Watson:
I cannot hear from New York in regard to Armistice Day. If I do come I shall speak at New Haven, Connecticut on the 9th and I could perhaps stop in New ↑at↓ York on my way back. Could you look up the trains from New York City to York and let me know about it. If it is possible without too much wear and tear I shall be glad to ↑take the appointment.↓
Faithfully yours,
Jane Addams [signed]
Mrs. Grace D. Watson,
20 So. Twelfth St.
Philadelphia.
↑P.S. [A] telegram from Miss Fendall says that the armistice meeting is still on!↓
