My dear Mr. Maddox,
I am sending a box of fifty more books. Please [chuck] them in the store room and do not bother to acknowledge them. This box makes eight hundred bound volumes which I have sent and I will certainly send more so that the $1000.00 may at least pay for real books. ↑I do not a great admirer of Mrs [McCulloch's] scheme of selling books!↓
