My dear Miss Addams,
The Council of Jewish Women is to make "Peace" the subject of its general meeting on the afternoon of Monday February 14, at the Covenant Club, 10 N. Dearborn St. Mr. Frederick J. Libby will speak on "The World Peace Movement and the Theory behind it."
It is my pleasure to invite you to be the guest of honor, and to ask if you will give a short address relating to the general subject of "Peace." We are inviting two delegates from each of the eighty-five organizations which compose the Conference of Jewish Women's Organizations. [Through] them, we hope the message you may deliver, will be heard and heeded by many thousands of Jewish women.
With sincere personal greetings, I am,
Faithfully yours,
A taxi will be at your disposal.
