Jane Addams to Florence Gottschalk Taussig, November 26, 1925

My dear Mrs. Taussig:

I am speaking at Lindenwood College, St. Charles, Mo., on Tuesday evening, December 1st. I arrive there from the state university at Columbia in the afternoon and come back by way of St. Louis.

It would be awfully nice if I could catch a glimpse of you somewhere. As nearly as I can make out they will have to drive me back to St. Louis after the lecture to catch a midnight train to Chicago. Perhaps I can catch a glimpse of you then. At any rate I cannot bear to be so near you without letting you know.
