My dear Miss Addams:

Thank you very much for your note regarding your conversation with Mr. Frederick Keppel. I naturally went after this Foundation at the same time I did the General Education Board but was told, as you were, that they did not subsidize library building ventures any more. I have never known just what their "college art plan" is, although I heard Mr. Keppel speak on it at the Chicago meeting of the Association of American Colleges two years ago. I may go to New York within the next week or two and if I do I shall make it a point to call on Mr. Keppel and see what they can do to help advance our art interests.

With best wishes, I am

Cordially yours,

Miss Jane Addams,
