THE PAN-PACIFIC UNION

HONOLULU April 14th, 1925

Miss Jane Addams,
Hull House, Chicago, Ill.

My dear Miss Addams:

I am sending you by this mail a bound volume of the Proceedings of the Pan-Pacific Food Conservation Conference.

I wish to say that we are now engaged in the follow-up work of this conference and are organizing the plans of the Pan-Pacific Research Institution on which will devolve much of this follow up work.

Dr. David Starr Jordan, Dr. Barton Warren Evermann, Sir Joseph Carruthers, and a number of other distinguished scientists from the Pacific countries are expected as guests this summer in our main building, to outline definitely the work of the Pan-Pacific Research Institution, which will be chiefly along the lines of study in crop development, food production and conservation, and race and population studies.

Any suggestions you have to offer, we will be very glad to receive.

With best wishes, believe me,

Very truly yours,

A. H. Ford [signed]
Director,
PAN-PACIFIC UNION.
