My dear Miss Addams:
I am [enclosing] a letter which came today from London, which will be self-explanatory.
I have written to Kathleen Innes, telling her to have the books send on here as I take it for granted her statement is correct, that you have suggested her sending them. It has occurred to me that the League of Nations Non-Partisan Association might be very glad to buy some. If you think this would be advisable, I shall be very glad to write them, sending them a copy or the little advertisement which I [enclose] for you.
I am looking forward to my visit to Chicago and Hull House with great eagerness. I do so hope that we will have a fairly good meeting, but it seems difficult to get many easterners to go out to the middle west now. Another year I think it might be wise for all large organizations to consult each other as to the time and place of meetings so that there will not be so many overlappings of conventions as there are this year.
Affectionately,
[Enc].
