My dear Mrs. Hull

We returned from a week in “the proveniences” last evening and I found a mass of letters waiting for me.

I am writing directly to Dorothy Evans that I do not believe that we have any opening here but it might be wise to keep her letter in case any opening appeared. Of course Mde. Ramondt comes with her daughter next year and has a superior claim. Dorothy Evans you remember was a very charming English girl and spoke well.

We are having a fine time in this very fascinating country. The W.I.L. group here is small but composed of rather distinguished women -– certainly very fine ones.

With apologies for this hasty letter and affectionate greetings to your household, I am devotedly yours Jane Addams.
