Miss Jane Addams
Hull House
Chicago, Ill.

My dear Miss Addams:

Miss Estelle Lauder is anxious to know what stand the Women's International League is to take in regard to the Child Labor Amendment, whether we are to endorse it, oppose it, or remain neutral.

Mrs. Olmsted requested me to write and ask you to express your opinion in regard to the matter. I am also writing to Miss Balch and Mrs. Hull. We should be very glad if we could receive your answer before our next Board meeting, on December 8th.

I hope you arrived home safely from your Philadelphia visit, and are not too tired.

With very best wishes, I am

Sincerely yours,

MRS. MARIETTE POWERS BENTON
