My dear Mr. Ford:

Thank you very much for [your] kind letter, and I remember with pleasure, meeting you in Pekin, and hearing about your associations, and later, in Honolulu.

It would be almost impossible for me to say now whether or not I could attend the meeting in Honolulu in 1928, although I am enormously interested in all that concerns the women of the Pan-Pacific region.

If I must decide now, I am afraid it will have to be in the negative, but I am sure you know you have all my best wishes for a successful gathering.

Faithfully yours,

Mr. A. H. Ford, Director,
Pan-Pacific Union,
Honolulu, Hawaii.
