Jane Addams to Rosika Schwimmer, April 16, 1924

APR 16 1924

Women's International League for Peace and Freedom
Genève, 6 ru du Vieux-Collège

My dear Madam Schwimmer:

As you see by the enclosed list made out by Miss Heymann at the office, you have been put down as one of the Consultative members. As you see by ↑also know by↓ the circular, the Board and members meet on the 24th. Mrs. Lewis prepared for eighteen at her house but is not able to take care of so many so I am trying to persuade her to have the meeting at the Aldine Hotel in Philadelphia.

I am leaving on the 21st because I speak in Baltimore the 22nd and at the Mass Meeting in New York the 23rd.

It would be very nice to find you in Philadelphia the 24th or 25th.

Hastily yours,

Jane Addams [signed]
