Berthold Laufer to David Charles Davies, March 18, 1924

Examined the Museum material in Hull House and requested return of No. 2, pair of Chinese scales, No. 26 Persian rug, No. 23 a collection of tassels made by Martin A. Ryerson, and a Navaho saddle-bag. The other objects are either of no use to the Museum or, like the specimens of cocoons and raw silk, are in such a condition that they makes them unfit for exhibition.

Miss Addams promised to have the rug cleaned and after cleaning sent to the Museum.
