My dear Mrs Taussig

I have sent the children one of the Van Loon books which my little nephew so dotes on. I hope they won't mind having it together [although] I am afraid it is not a favorite plan with children. [page 2]

It was very dear of all of you to send me a Christmas greeting. I am very grateful for your affection to which you know I heartily respond. With every possible good wish for the New Year to the entire family, I am devotedly yours
