ASK HEARINGS ON LYNCHING OF NEGROES

Boston, Nov. 24. -- A request that the committee of one hundred which is conducting hearings in Washington on the Irish situation continue in session, after the completion of its investigation for the purpose of conducting hearings on lynching of negroes was sent to Oswald Garrison Villard of New York [and] Miss Jane Addams of Chicago tonight by Rev. M. A. N. Shaw, president of the National Equal Rights League. The request asks for "a gathering of the facts of racial injustice and mob murders."
