Miss Jane Addams,
Hull House,
Chicago, Illinois,

Dear Miss Addams:

It occurred to Mr. Lasker and me that, as the Swiss picture of Mars and Ceres which we are publishing as a sort of frontispiece to your article fitted so tellingly the two themes of your book, you might care to have the print we got at Geneva. We are sending it to you under separate cover with the compliments of The Survey and our very best wishes.

With this I am enclosing an engravers' proof of it together with an engravers' proof of a Russian Famine Fund poster which was drawn by an artist at Tiflis who has been through it all. This we are using as [another?] feature following your article. It is one of a series of the posters the Russian Famine Fund is planning to get out.

Sincerely,

Item Relations
