My dear Mr. Wallas: --
I have just finished reading "Human Nature and Politics" with the keenest interest and pleasure. It explores and formulates whole regions of experience which I have never seen dealt with before. I wish you might carry on a series of studies in Chicago.
I have given two copies of the book to members of the Municipal Voters League, one of whom, I am sure, could have been saved many mistakes could he have read the book five years ago.
Thanking you very much for your kind words in the preface, and with sincere admiration for [page 2] your fine piece of work, I am,
Very sincerely yours,
