Dear Miss Addams

I can get the Japanese girl from Wellesley on the Imperator June 30th. At least four of the delegates are going at that time so she will be well looked after. But it is quite necessary to know about her return. Do you want her to come back directly after the Congress? The Steamship passage is $150. -- What shall I do about paying? I have an appointment tomorrow with the East and West Bureau but Mrs Cothren [page 2] holds out little hope. I have written to Miss Nichols thinking I might save you. Miss Crook has gotten into communication with Mrs Thomas and sees the other Japanese girl tomorrow.

Affectionately

Mabel Kittredge
