Paul Underwood Kellogg to Jane Addams, March 3, 1921

March 3, 1921

Miss Jane Addams,
Hull House,
Chicago, Illinois.

Dear Miss Addams:

Do send me a chapter or two of the book, if you will -- and some indication of what the other chapters will be about.

When you and Mrs. Spencer agree on such a matter as to the estimate of the peace societies and their progress, I guess it is settled. While waiting therefore until late summer or fall for a careful appraisal, I wonder if a news article showing how the situatuion is in flux might not be very opportune, -- say of 1500 words. I am sure we would appreciate it if you feel disposed to prompt Mr. Mussey to write it.
