Jane Addams,
800 South [Halsted] St.,
Chicago, Illinois.

Dear friend:

We surely appreciate very much the amount of time which you are able to give to our work. Our great concern just at present is to have some one meet the key men among German-Americans in different cities, get them to thoroughly understand our work and get the German organizations hard at work for funds in the very near future. A cable from our Unit states that Berlin conditions will probably equal Vienna unless large relief comes in the next two months.

Yours sincerely,

Executive Secretary.
