My dear Mrs. Van Winkle:
Miss Addams has received your telegram from California and has answered directly to Mrs. Burdette as you suggested. She is taking no engagements with single clubs thinking it more useful to take appointments with Federations where she may reach more people from wider range. I will send you a copy of her itinerary soon.
I am also glad to say that Miss Addams has also received word from New Orleans about the engagement there and is planning to leave on the fifth of March, speaking at New Orleans on the seventh.
May I ask you to send soon another book of government requests for transportation. The trip to New Orleans almost exhausts the blanks in the one you sent before as it is necessary to use two for a trip, one for transportation and one for Pullman.
Very sincerely yours,
