Miss Jane [Addams],

Dear Miss [Addams]:

I am writing to ask you if you would be so kind as to give me your opinion concerning whether or not a presentation of about 40 copies of your new work "Newer Ideals of Peace" among college professors, would bring about any increase in the sale of the book. In other words, would it find a place in College and University work? Any suggestions which you might make regarding the names of professors to whom you would like presentations sent would be most acceptable to me.

Trusting that you will care to give me this information, and assuring you that it would be a great assistance to me, I am,

Very truly yours,

AH Nelson [signed]
